Year of the Cat is one of my all-time favorite songs. But he has a lot of good ones.

I played it back in the late 70s. Obviously, we couldn't make it as lush.
And, I wasn't a good enough guitar player yet to really do it justice, but I sure loved doing it.

It literally gives me goosebumps!

"She comes out of the sun in a silk dress running

In the year of the cat"

is maybe the best example EVER of how words can paint a picture in a song.

One can actually envision the woman.

When I was younger, I literally used to cry when I heard that song, because the music was so beautiful.
