Life with a shithead golden retriever.

Dude just came strolling through the living room with large 4 pound almost empty container of peanut butter that was on kitchen counter.

I’m like hey Dunc what you got there shithead . And he did not acknowledge me or stop and look my way with the container of peanut butter hanging from his mouth .

He then jumped up on sun bed and started licking the inside going full Winnie the Pooh.

I hope he didn't eat all 4 pounds of peanut butter. I worry about dogs' fat content because of pancreatitis risk.

Did you snatch it from him?

You called him shithead. I would have ignored you to. How did he get the cover off the jar?

Consuming peanut butter without sharing was strictly not allowed.

Once asked the vet if peanut butter pill pockets that are sold for dogs were safe to use for cats and he said I could use actual peanut butter. Easiest cat-pilling experience of my life.

My golden is 72 lbs. But just right weight wise we walk him many miles a day and have neighborhood small park we turned into our own dog park at 4pm people bring dogs to play. He runs then.

Doesn't like peanut butter though but is hogging down his new bone. Always has a bit of meat on it.

I walked my grand dogs yesterday. Their yard has been mowed and there are clumps of dried grass laying on the drive. Some of the clumps are the size of golf balls, others as big as my hand. Fabio ate some of the small ones, tried to carry a big one into the house. I traded him for a peanut.

we always said she had a good heart, it just wasnt pumping enough blood to her brain.

we came home 1 night to find that she had gotten a glass jar of peanut butter off the kitchen counter.
broken glass and blood everywhere, but not a lick of pb left. she only had about a dozen cuts on her face and tongue, fortunately none very deep.
succchhh a dumb dog.
