and organic. I am a fan of Seattle's Best Organic, but it was hard to find when I went out for my last purchase; something happened where I usually buy it: the price is up. the packaging changed and the organic I looked for, I couldn't find. I went to multiple stores.
So I just settled for the store brand ground organic, the price was ok.
But it is the way I prepare it that matters most: a couple of tablespoons of the grounds in the filter that sits on top of my cup; hot water poured straight over the grounds, and hot milk to turn it into a cortadito style or espresso coffee style. Just 4 in max of coffee and a little hot milk.
Not complicated at all, I am used to this morning routine...and only two cups prepared as above...and I am good for the whole day.

when I moved back to Colorado (along with a vial of about five Demerol tablets unused after oral surgery). Some might bemoan the loss of the Demerol, but for me, I may never get over losing that valuable Jamaican Blue Mountain! sigh...

Now, I do a black pour-over with a Vermont coffee that is sustainable Arabica beans from several countries--supposedly lightly flavored with chocolate. I don't taste the chocolate, but it does come out smooth enough that I can drink it without cream or sugar and find it pleasing. It is hard to find sometimes so I stocked up, knowing full well that shortages and major increases in price are on the way, given tariffs and drought...

the coffee coming up in the glass knob and the smell of it and the sound! Sights and smells of mornings in my Mom's kitchen. Comforting!

Really great coffee is one of the few luxuries in which my wife and I still indulge ourselves, every morning.

I brought back a pound of Kona from our trip to Hawaii last fall. It was wonderful

I drink it with no sugar but lots of cream (and I only use half and half). Sometimes I will foam up some milk instead.
I like it iced or hot.

I also love Vietnamese coffee, in a class by itself.
