I just found a YouTube video about the Timothy Leary comic book I worked on in 1977-1978..

...NEUROCOMICS

I am the "Tim Kummero" referred to in the video.

George DiCaprio is the writer (based on the writings of Timothy Leary); my longest surviving best friend, Pete Von Sholly, is the main artist; and I did the cover painting and other stuff explained in the video.

...when we were working on the project.

He offered us Olympia Beer.

So, I drank beer with the "acid king."

One of my friends (still) went to work for Rip Off Press immediately after high school (72) before going to university. I started Cal in 73.

Wish had managed to keep the all the comics and other items from those years.

Possess all the Freak Brothers, the Weirdo with Philip K Dick sees the Pink Light, Binky Brown Meets the Blessed Virgin Mary and some R Crumb.

Have Flashback, some other Leary plus a hc of The Psychedelic Experience by Leary et al.

Saw Leary debate Gordon Liddy in mid 80s at Cal's Zellerbach Hall.

Read a bunch of RAW and still have most of those books (Cosmic Trigger etc.)

Good for you.

Fun years to be alive plus all the great music.

...lost track of it, and a vinyl records collection.

Pretty lame on my part.

But I still have some interesting stuff.

...I have worked for the last 33 years (same company, working from home since the pandemic) doing pre-production silkscreen work, such as color separations, for the garment industry.

That hasn't left a lot of time for doing much else, but things have really slowed down over the last month.

I've had no work for at least the last three weeks.

I wonder what could have happened to cause all the work to go away?

Some time ago, I posted an OP about how I used to make original art but stopped doing that.
