Update on my hairdresser's death and the aftermath...

I called his partner who disclosed that Frank had actually died in early December and when a list of his clients w/phone numbers was found the clients were informed. He said the service had been held and sent me a commemoration video, which was very sad and very lovely. I went to his salon and was given a card w/a number to call for an appt. which I will make. There are 3 women hair stylists there and they were all busy and booked for a few weeks. They gave me a card and I will call soon for an appointment.

When I shared his death with folks at DU someone said it would be a long process to get through and they were right: it's been a longer process than I thought it would. I still get thoughts of "Oh, Frank ---will--would love to hear this!" A lot of it is what I discuss here at DU.

I lost a friend. Thank you, DU, for being so helpful to me!
