Trump's CBS "Confession" Should Be the Biggest Story in America

Without a doubt, the biggest story in the country today should be Donald Trump admitting on CBS last night that he has no idea who he’s pardoning. He let a convicted crypto fraudster walk free and then, on national television, straight-up said he only did it because his sons told him to. Let that sink in.

Can you imagine the reaction if Joe Biden said he pardoned someone because Hunter told him to? If Biden blindly freed a scammer based solely on his son’s recommendation — no due diligence, no second thought — conservative media would be frothing at the mouth. Republicans would launch twenty investigations before lunch. But with Trump? Shrugs. Silence from the MAGA influencers.

Let’s be clear: this wasn’t a Freudian slip. It wasn’t a mistake. It was a confession. Trump freed a crypto kingpin who pled guilty to fraud — just like he pardoned cop-beaters from January 6th, just like he pardoned drug dealers, sex offenders, and white-collar crooks — because he’s likely getting paid, one way or another, in this massive corruption scheme.

This crypto guy didn’t get pardoned for fun. He got out because Trump’s kids are knee-deep in the same crypto scam, raking in billions. To Trump and his inner circle, the presidency isn’t a job or a responsibility. It’s a money pipeline. And by admitting he doesn’t even know who he’s pardoning, Trump’s telling us exactly who he is: a puppet for profit, a vessel for other people’s corruption.

... because he doesn't want to talk about it on the record. He knows there are cameras rolling, and whatever he says can be used against him later. Therefore it's much safer to not say anything.

If Chump truly didn't know about Sam Bankman-Fried or why he was imprisoned, he'd make something up to show the reporters that he knows everything.

involved terrorist groups and because, according to Crumb the 1st, those hideous sons recommended the pardon it is a perfectly reasonable assumption that the sons at least may be involved in money laundering for terrorists as well.

that his kids are going to see prison time. They are the perfect targets and nobody likes them. They truly believe they are untouchable. Without Dad’s protection the justice system is going to eat them alive.

Only because the Justice system has ceased to exist.

Many of the prosecutors- are now gone.

Many new judges lack anything except Trump loyalty.

I think the justice system is badly broken, and can’t be fixed any time soon.

They keep turning out way too many conservative and ultra-conservative shills who can't WAIT to go work for the one-per-centers.

Back in my college years, the law schools turned out liberal lawyers who were fired up for truth, justice and the American way. Nowadays all the young lawyers care about is getting hired by the Heritage Society.
