The Epstein discharge petition is headed for success -- with a nudge from Dems

(The Hill) Incoming Democrats are poised to advance legislation forcing the Trump administration to release all the federal files on Jeffrey Epstein, the convicted sex offender.

Up to now, the focus on Capitol Hill has been on which Republicans might buck President Trump and GOP leaders and endorse a procedural tool, known as a discharge petition, to force that proposal to the floor even over the objections of Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.). The effort, sponsored by Rep. Thomas Massie (R-Ky.), has the support of 216 lawmakers — two shy of the number needed to compel the vote.

But there are currently four vacant seats in the House, and three of them cover deep blue districts where the Democrat is expected to prevail in special elections slated for later this year. Two of those elections will happen this month, and both of the Democratic candidates are vowing to sign the petition as soon as they arrive on Capitol Hill — enough to hit the magical 218 number required to force the Epstein bill to the floor.

It were a republican. I have no remorse for child rapists with or without a D next to their names. If Republicans are temporarily spared, their time will still come, but outing child rapists of any kind is a very, very good start.

Clinton and Gates had both flown on Epstein's plane but not to the island, just to other places doing their philanthropic work. So not everyone in the list went to the island and that will feed the WhatAbout ____ BS. More telling would be flight logs to the island, but I think only one of those plane's logs were released.

7. Agreed. And that nuance would likely be revealed in the information that can be released

Schmoozing with epstein for donations is obviously quite different from being his client for purposes of child rape. These women are telling us who raped them. So far Bill Clinton is not actually accused of raping anybody.

to check for editing time tags and missing info. You know the Bondi DOJ and Patel FBI have been hard at work altering the files. They best include Photo and video evidence.

We all know they'll screw with those files before release. The silver lining is like everything else this clown show has done, they'll do it so ineptly, a 10 year old with average tech skills will be able expose it.
