Jay Clayton Refuses To Directly Answer Who Won The 2020 Presidential Election

Source: yahoo.com

Brianna Tucker Updated Wed, July 15, 2026 at 10:19 AM CDT

Sen. Angus King (I-Maine) got into a tense back and forth with Jay Clayton, President Donald Trump's nominee to become the nation's top intelligence chief, during Wednesday's Senate confirmation hearing.

Asked who won the 2020 presidential election, Clayton declined to answer directly, deferring to the response he gave on a similar question from Sen. Mark Warner (D-Va.) earlier in the hearing.

"Yeah, I said ... I'm going to give you the same answer," Clayton responded. "The answer to the chairman was, he asked me if I was an election denier. I am not an election denier. Joe Biden was certified as the president. He went through his process. We went through our electoral process."...........................

We have a clear picture of how Clayton will function as AG now--!!

2. Ossoff: Isn't it humiliating to be unable to answer this question, to have to indulge the president's delusions?

When one has no soul, one can not be humiliated.

Ossoff: Who won the 2020 election?

Clayton: I’m not going to get into that with you.

Ossoff: Isn't it humiliating to be unable to answer this question, to have to indulge the president's delusions?

Every time I look at the news and there's a confirmation hearing the word "contentious " is always in the headlines. I lived through the Watergate hearings actually learned something from grown-ups instead of clowns in the witness chair.

I wonder how any Republican can explain their vote for him. Someone should ask them.

5. Why, just why can't these sycophants admit that trump is a loser? Are they willingly refusing to say who won 2020?

The man has no courage, and no strength; just a sycophant who wants power and authority to pursue his agenda and make a lot of money doing it.
Trusting him to lead the intelligence community is very worrisome indeed.

Jay Clayton is a revolving door old buy straight out of Bill Barr of the BFEE’s old law firm.

“I spent 33 years and four months in active military service and during that period I spent most of my time as a high class muscle man for Big Business, for Wall Street and the bankers. In short, I was a racketeer, a gangster for capitalism. I helped make Mexico and especially Tampico safe for American oil interests in 1914. I helped make Haiti and Cuba a decent place for the National City Bank boys to collect revenues in. I helped in the raping of half a dozen Central American republics for the benefit of Wall Street. I helped purify Nicaragua for the International Banking House of Brown Brothers in 1902-1912. I brought light to the Dominican Republic for the American sugar interests in 1916. I helped make Honduras right for the American fruit companies in 1903. In China in 1927 I helped see to it that Standard Oil went on its way unmolested. Looking back on it, I might have given Al Capone a few hints. The best he could do was to operate his racket in three districts. I operated on three continents.”
