Healthcare - Democrats, Protect Our Care to launch $5M ad campaign attacking GOP health cuts

A group of Democratic lawmakers are joining with the health advocacy group Protect Our Care to launch a $5 million ad campaign across more than a dozen states holding Republicans accountable for their devastating health care cuts.
Democratic House lawmakers including Minority Whip Katherine Clark (Mass.), Pete Aguilar (Calif.), Nancy Pelosi (Calif.), Frank Pallone (N.J.), Richard Neal (Mass.), Lauren Underwood (Ill.), Lori Trahan (Mass.), Terri Sewell (Ala.) and Bobby Scott (Va.) will be helping Protect Our Care to launch its new campaign titled Sick of It! Fix Health Care Now.
Protect Our Care is investing nearly $5 million in the coming months. Working alongside state and national partners, the campaign will mobilize communities across the country through town halls, storytelling, digital engagement and advertising, and events holding Republicans accountable for their devastating health care cuts, the organization said in a statement shown first to The Hill.
The campaign will run in Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Georgia, Iowa, Minnesota, New York, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia and Wisconsin. A coast-to-coast bus tour will take place in the fall as part of this push.
