He was good at radio, and I would occasionally listen to him, especially when he had a great guest on. However, he was conspiratorial, and after Sandy Hook in 2012, it was clear that there was something deeply wrong with him. After all that the parents of Sandy Hook had suffered, he made it much worse. The best theory I have is he did it for the money.

He then became a strong supporter and shill for Trump, until recently. He is still a shill for the Republican party and far right extremists. In many ways he's much worse than Trump. Trump is Trump, like a snake is a snake and doesn't know any better. Alex Jones is smart enough to know better, but is so greedy and malevolent that he just doesn't care.

And what he did in the the aftermath of Sandy Hook was even worse -- doxxing the parents. Imagine losing your child and it's just the beginning of your living hell. Because of Alex Jones, many of the parents of the murdered children have received death threats, and in some cases have had to move multiple times.

They deserve every penny of the jury's award if not more.

This is a strange time in neuroscience. And “left” or right with human errors documented by the net being subverted to justify more rot, it should be remembered that evolution perfects over long time scales, enlightenment values have lead to industrialized life becoming less hellish (voting rights act, roe v wase..I have barely any brain cells left for my field and for energy beyond common sense and the point is that a more enlightened version of the stuff that was all kicked out because it was bad is lame..I am not mocking anyone so much as avoiding thought terminating cliches).
