They claim this is typical - to reserve a large block, just in case. I know event planners often do that, but with what is going on with the visas (and the sudden huge prices for them intentionally and racistly imposed on dozens of countries), plus ICE goons, it makes one wonder whether the cancels were more than "typical" too.

Everyone will stay home and watch the World Cup games on TV. Why spend the money and take a chance on getting your head busted open by ICE at the actual events?
