Oil Storage Facility Struck in Tehran: What to Know

DUBAI, United Arab Emirates (AP) — The Iran war exploded further late Saturday as pillars of flame rose above an oil storage facility in Tehran and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu promised “many surprises” for the next phase of the week-old conflict.

Iranian state media confirmed the strike, as Associated Press video showed the horizon glowing against the night sky. Israel’s military confirmed a new wave of strikes that shook neighborhoods in Tehran’s east and south but did not immediately comment on targets. It appeared to be the first time a civil industrial facility has been targeted in the war.

Earlier, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian apologized for attacks on “neighboring countries,” even as its missiles and drones flew toward Gulf Arab states and hard-liners asserted that Tehran’s war strategy wouldn’t budge. A rift between more pragmatic politicians looking to de-escalate the week-old war and others committed to battling the United States and Israel could complicate efforts to end the fighting.

Conflicting statements involved two of the three members of the leadership council overseeing Iran since Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei was killed in the war’s opening airstrikes. U.S. allies in the Gulf have said the Trump administration did not give them adequate time to prepare for the war.

Remember who was president the last time gas topped $4? Hint: It was another low IQ Repuglican.

Oh, and there are new bird flu outbreaks in Wisconsin. The price of eggs might skyrocket again if it isn't contained. Be sure to tell your local MAGAts.

I filled the old car up on Tuesday. The cheapest price I could find was $4.99/gallon in the local town.

It is probably close to $6 or maybe even $7 today. I have not been out to look! I don't want to know right now.

The ocean is not far and there isn't a whole lot of anything here.

The prices are the highest in the state it seems.

I've been trying to learn to not drive now for many reasons, the main ones are due to health.

Can't win in this situation!

Now, it's once per month, if even that. I barely notice gas prices. Based on my self-abusive lifestyle, I never should've made it this far.

That was the first time since Shrub's term, when they were $4 a gallon in July, 2008.
