As Signs of Aging Emerge, Trump Responds With Defiance

Source: WSJ

WASHINGTON—President Trump is taking more aspirin than his doctors recommend. He briefly tried wearing compression socks for his swelling ankles, but stopped because he didn’t like them. And he regrets undergoing advanced imaging because it generated scrutiny of his health.

“In retrospect, it’s too bad I took it because it gave them a little ammunition,” Trump said in an interview with The Wall Street Journal on his decision to get a cardiovascular and abdominal scan in October. “I would have been a lot better off if they didn’t, because the fact that I took it said, ‘Oh gee, is something wrong?’ Well, nothing’s wrong.”

Trump, 79, the oldest man to assume the presidency, is showing signs of aging in public and private, according to people close to him. Yet he has at times eschewed the advice of his doctors and scoffed at the medical community’s widely accepted health recommendations, relying instead on what he calls his “good genetics.” Trump and his doctor say he is in excellent health, and aides say he maintains a vigorous schedule.

Trump gets little sleep and has recently struggled to keep his eyes open during several televised events in the West Wing. Aides, donors and friends say they often have to speak loudly in meetings with the president because he strains to hear. Aside from golf, Trump doesn’t get regular exercise, and he is known to consume a diet heavy on salty and fatty foods, such as hamburgers and french fries.

he will do whatever he can to leave his mark everywhere he goes. As time is running out for him, I think the "move fast and break things" mode is his default position.

I’m a firm believer that everyone in his orbit should encourage him to drive fast and take chances…

Two scoops? Have three!
Double cheeseburgers? Add bacon!
Ranch dressing? It ain’t just for salads!

2026 should be his most gluttonous on record!

"His physical signs of aging are becoming more evident to some of his closest advisers. His skin is so delicate that Pam Bondi, now his attorney general, caused his hand to bleed when she nicked him with her ring while giving him a high-five at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee."

Trump said he applies makeup to his hands after he gets “whacked again by someone.” He added: “I have makeup that’s, you know, easy to put on, takes about 10 seconds.”

Midnight drug induced rants about imaginary enemies and misinterpreted events, followed by embarrassing displays of drowsiness and

But he's still on top of his game when it comes to insulting people and telling lies.

15. Trump's golf is not "regular exercise"
Thu Jan 1, 2026, 10:44 AM

He rides a golf cart from tee to ball location. The only walking he does is from the cart to the ball and back. He drives his cart onto the green -- something that is strictly forbidden on every golf course in the world -- unless, of course . . . .

I'm 81. I ran 3-4 marathons annually from age 22 to 58 then backed off to a 10K per month and a couple of half marathons annually. Now, at 81, I walk -- with the aid of a cane -- 1.5 miles 5 days a week. I work out 4-5 days a week -- 20 minutes of stretching; 30 minutes of weights with kettlebells and weight bench -- then walk. 6'1", 182 lbs. I bench press my weight.

Trump is a tub of lard, most of which is located around his middle and his ass.

The way Trump golfs is not exercise. Consider that he swings a club then hobbles to his super-charged golf cart and drives a couple of hundred yards to his ball. The process repeats as a cheats his way around the course. It’s not strenuous at all.

At least he’s swinging the clubs which is decent stretching but it’s not cardio and the resistance is minimal so there’s very little muscle development.

Golf can be great exercise if the player walks the course which can exceed 4 miles. That’s a good cardio workout but Trump can barely walk down a hallway. The player can use a pull/push cart for their clubs or they can carry them which is a terrific workout.

The writer of the article doesn’t know the game.

As pointed out up the thread, he drives his golf cart right up onto the green to get to his ball, which is normally forbidden on golf courses. He hardly does any walking while golfing. He just gets in and out the cart.

Now he is claiming "cardiovascular and abdominal" scan.

You know the saying "The truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth". In his case, 1 for 3 is better than average. It probably is true that they scanned those things, considering we already know he has severe vascular problems. I have no doubt they wanted to take a look at the vascular/arterial system to see if there was anything that could help his cankles.

But I seriously doubt this is the whole truth and nothing but the truth. In the "nothing but the truth" ledger, he said there is nothing wrong. The is OBVIOUSLY something wrong. That's why he has cankles.

The bigger problem is that "whole truth" thing. It seems fairly evident that he has been receiving infusions. There were multiple times when his hand showed tell-tale signs of bruising from IVs in the hand. Lately we haven't seen that, but that probably means they are administering through a PICC line or something like that. The most likely scenario is that he is receiving an advanced drug to slow the progress of his Alzheimer's disease. These drugs require a BRAIN CAT scan before the course starts, ant then follow-up CAT scans before the 3rd, 5th, 7th, and 14th infusions to make sure there is no swelling or bleeding in the brain. I believe that would be the whole truth.

P.S. The Alzheimer's drugs are not working.

That sounds made up and considering the source I'll say a guy known for lying is up to his same old tricks.
