I think it would have made the same point without helping to buy into the argument that "AOC is just as extreme as trump."

This paints AOC as potentially violent and given her position that is not only extremely dumb but dangerous as well.

I understand it's just musing but the fact this particular muse arises reflectd that she's a rising star.

I may not agree with everything she says and does - I never do with any Democrat I support - but I greatly admire her intelligence, toughness, courage and the depth with which she loves our country.

I may not live long enough to have an opportunity to vote for her, but I hope my sons will.

Yes, he was inartful in getting his point across. That is always a danger on live TV. But to read into his comments that a future President AOC would kill people in illegal strikes is really going too far IMO.

The odds of anyone in the GOP or the mass media (nearly the same thing these days) actually applying that degree of consideration to his comments are lottery-level slim.
