US actor and writer David Ketchum, best known for Get Smart, has died, aged 97.
He died on August 10 in a care facility in California, his daughter Nicole Madden confirmed.
He joined Get Smart for its second season in 1966 playing Agent 13, who would pop up in mailboxes, grandfather clocks, fire hydrants, planters, while on uncomfortable undercover assignments.
He was once put inside a sofa.

How could it not be hilarious? 
"What? I couldn't hear that." "Can you repeat that?" "Can you speak into my good ear?" Strange echoes. Too funny.
