Unless it's a U.S. Capitol Police officer, then we'll pardon you...and give you lots of money when you sue the government.

when having "ICE official" or "ICE agent" on your CV as current or previous employer will NOT be seen as a positive, but will all but assure you are not considered for whatever job you may be applying for (from law enforcement to dog catcher.)

Unfortunately, my youngest grandson, 19, who is tired of working at Walmart as the only job he can find in this little city, is being lured in by all the $$$ signs. His big brother tried to explain he's basically cutting himself off from the only side of the family that supported him once his mother decided to shack up with her latest boyfriend and kick the kids out to the streets (oldest is living with me and hubby). But this is one point I hadn't even thought of to present to him. I don't know if it would make an impact on someone that young, but I gotta try... the kid will get eaten by ICE. My god, HE'S not only not assured of who he is, sexually, but he's also a furry. ICE is NO PLACE for this kid.

I try not to be bigoted. Religion--practice (or not) what you want . . . but don't proselytize to me. After the seeing the spate of Christian Nationalist, and so many other professed Christians who don't follow the teachings of Jesus (love they neighbor, help the less fortunate, feed the hungry), I now view Christians (painted with a very broad brush) with a tad of disdain. If a workman feels the need, when soliciting my custom, to inform me "I'm a good Christian," I automatically strike him from my list. If he has to tell me he is christian, I assume it is because I would not recognize that persuasion by his behavior and ethics. Likewise, if I were an employer reading through applicants' resumes, I would immediately disqualify the applicant if he touted this on his CV.

Another thought: He's going to be made fun of mercilessly by the other ICE thugs for being the subject of a sub sandwich attack.

US Attorney Pirro's office admits grand jury refused ICE interference charges — twice

WASHINGTON — Federal prosecutors twice sought a grand jury indictment against a D.C. woman accused of assaulting an FBI agent during an ICE inmate transfer — and were twice rejected, the U.S. Attorney’s Office admitted in court Thursday.

Magistrate Judge G. Michael Harvey revealed the denials to attorneys for Sydney Lori Reid and later granted their request to remove all bond conditions and release her on her own recognizance over prosecutors’ objections. He will resume a preliminary hearing on Friday afternoon to determine whether to dismiss the case entirely.

“Two presentations to the grand jury returned no bill both times,” Harvey said. “Suggesting the evidence is wanting, given the standard for indictment is probable cause. Suggesting the government may never get an indictment.”

Grand juries are tasked with deciding only whether there is a reasonable basis to support charging someone with a crime – a much lower burden for prosecutors than the beyond-a-reasonable-doubt standard of criminal juries – and typically make their decisions after hearing evidence only from the government. At the federal level, grand juries return indictments, or “true bills,” in the vast majority of cases.

Reid, 44, was charged last month with an enhanced felony version of an assault charge that requires inflicting bodily injury on a federal officer and carries a maximum sentence of up to eight years in prison. The charge is the same offense filed this week against a former DOJ employee accused of throwing a sandwich at a U.S. Customs and Border Protection agent.

Piro is so bad at her job that she cannot indict a ham sandwich. It will be fun to see is she brings Sean Dunn to a grand jury for a real sandwich indictment
