Malnutrition in Gaza at alarming levels, WHO warns as aid airdrops resume

Source: BBC

"... Meanwhile, medics reported nine killed and 54 injured by Israeli fire near an aid convoy route in central Gaza. An airstrike also hit a residential block an hour after a pause came into effect on Saturday.

Local sources told the BBC that nine people were shot in the Netzarim Corridor along Salah al-Din Street in central Gaza, where scores of civilians had gathered in anticipation of UN aid convoys.

The IDF said its troops "fired warning shots" at a "gathering of suspects" approaching them. It said it was not aware of any casualties.

Meanwhile, BBC Verify geolocated an airstrike at Midhat Al-Wahidy Street in Al-Rimal district of western Gaza City - which Israel had designated an hour earlier as an area where operations would cease..."

Meanwhile their PR-stunt useless airdrop their tactical pause killed a mother and her four children.

Israel later carried out an airstrike during the "tactical pause." Reports from the scene say a mother called Wafaa Harara and her four children, Sara, Areej, Judy and Iyad were killed.

Free Palestine - from murderous Israel.

On edit: the mother and her four children were killed during the "tactical pause". Guess it was tactical targeting.

Killed in "safe" areas, killed trying to get food, suffering malnutrition, diseases (typhoid is rising), despairing, abandoned. Watching their children suffer, losing their parents. Maimed, injured, no medicine. Everything they knew gone.

How can people inflict this much pain on others and not have some compassion, even be glad for it? Way too many Israelis think this is just fine. They just want Gazans gone. This is a moral collapse of a society. It's scary how this can happen. Goddess help us all if it becomes normalized. Who will be next?

But it's likely to happen. Airdrops should only be used as a last resort. Very dangerous. And least effective. Surprised it was chosen? Not me.
