Local sources told the BBC that nine people were shot in the Netzarim Corridor along Salah al-Din Street in central Gaza, where scores of civilians had gathered in anticipation of UN aid convoys.
The IDF said its troops "fired warning shots" at a "gathering of suspects" approaching them. It said it was not aware of any casualties.
Meanwhile, BBC Verify geolocated an airstrike at Midhat Al-Wahidy Street in Al-Rimal district of western Gaza City - which Israel had designated an hour earlier as an area where operations would cease..."

(3,455 posts)Killed in "safe" areas, killed trying to get food, suffering malnutrition, diseases (typhoid is rising), despairing, abandoned. Watching their children suffer, losing their parents. Maimed, injured, no medicine. Everything they knew gone.
How can people inflict this much pain on others and not have some compassion, even be glad for it? Way too many Israelis think this is just fine. They just want Gazans gone. This is a moral collapse of a society. It's scary how this can happen. Goddess help us all if it becomes normalized. Who will be next?
