Israel depriving Gazans of 'human dignity', says UK and 24 other countries in call to end war now

Foreign Secretary David Lammy has joined other foreign ministers in condemning the Israeli government for depriving Gazans "of human dignity".

Mr Lammy and his counterparts from 24 other countries, including France, Australia and Canada, along with the European Union’s commissioner for equality, urged the Israeli government to "immediately lift restrictions on the flow of aid".

They called for the war to “end now” and described proposals to move 600,000 Palestinians to a so-called "humanitarian city" in Rafah as "completely unacceptable".

Levy the heaviest possible economic sanction on Israel, refuse any trade with them, shut them off from international banking, confiscate assets in their countries, anything that will make Netanyahu and his right-wing genocidal government stop and listen. So far, Netanyahu and Israelis have suffered no consequences from their continued destruction of Gaza and the daily murders of Palestinians. Providing some serious consequences might help end their genocidal war. Even Trump seems to be tiring of Bibi. If the US would cut all aid until Bibi stops murdering and starving people, other countries would follow.

I support Israel's right to exist, but not this slaughter of so many innocent Gazans, and destruction of the place.

And screw the illegal West Bank "settlers", too.
