A Tucson Sector Border Patrol agent has been indicted on 24 felony charges, including 10 counts of child sex trafficking, the latest in a series of sexual-misconduct convictions or charges against U.S. Customs and Border Protection employees in Arizona.
Willcox border agent Bart Conrad Yager, 39, was also charged with six counts of pandering, or encouraging someone to engage in prostitution; one count of attempted child sex trafficking; and two counts of fraud, between July 2023 and March 2024 in Cochise County, indictments from the Cochise County Attorneys Office show.
On Thursday, county prosecutors also charged Yager with five drug-related felonies: possession or use of the anabolic steroid trenbolone and testosterone; sale or transportation of trenbolone and testosterone; and possession of drug paraphernalia, all in 2025.
A CBP spokesman said the agencys Office of Professional Responsibility arrested Yager in Willcox on June 17, and executed a search warrant based on allegations of child sex trafficking, fraudulent schemes and pandering.

(16,789 posts)I believe that several of his pals and maybe a supervisor or two, knew what he was doing...they just decided to look the other way and let it happen...that "Blue Line" BS!!!
The only reason he was busted was probably because too many people in the organization were finding out about his actions!!!

(67,249 posts)I've always thought that Trump makes a lot of money from sex trafficking. His international business partners - notably Russians and Saudis - are implicated in sex trafficking.
It's why Trump is friendly with the Tait brothers. It's why he was so friendly with Epstein. It's why Putin owns Trump.
The entire reason for his border and immigration policies are to kidnap children and young people and sell them into sex trafficking.
It's always been obvious to me, since 2015 or earlier.

Experiencing being a minority will be educational.
Don't forget to sew some hardcover books in your jacket for when you go out for yard, Bart.
Might just stop a shank to your kidney.

(36 posts)Too many LEO's are abusing anabolic steroids to pump up their body image of masculinity and authority. And "Roid Rage" is a real side effect so we have more police brutality and violence against citizens which departments must defend in courts. The mindset of those who seek such employment seems to be tilted on the side of those who think, oh boy, I get to kick some ass, versus those who think, maybe I can do some good and protect citizens from criminals. And there are those who are not qualified to do anything else but barely pass police academy training (with no national minimum standards) to put in their 15 years and retire with a good pension and health care benefits. Once inside the system, there is extreme pressure to defend the "blue line" against accountability by an unspoken code of silence. It can become dangerous to be known as an officer who finks to Internal Affairs. So kudos to all good cops who keep the peace while defending constitutional rights.

(6,709 posts)One of them expects county taxpayers to foot bill for increased insurance for county government because he refused to obey the law re canvasing/certifying an election. He has been indicted and Supervisor Chip On His Shoulder still won't take a plea deal OR pay the whole bill for his own defense.
The County Attorney when this crime happened told the former CBP supervisor that to refuse the lawful requirement was a crime and the county would not shoulder the cost of his defense.
Marc Alias won a case against the bozo.
There have been reasons to question the behavior of other CBP agents down here. It amazes me that the law abiding agents don't turn on the abusive ones. The abusive ones give the whole group a bad name and probably makes the job harder for all of them.

(7,190 posts)Tip of the iceberg, I'm sure. And with their push to hire thousands more border patrol and ICE agents, 3,000 and 10,000 respectively, the vermin will be crawling out of the woodwork and applying for these positions. IOW, it's going to get a lot worse.
