CNN A sudden resurgence of interest in Jeffrey Epstein, and unanswered questions about his crimes, has been measurable this month in book sales, Netflix streams and YouTube searches.
The data points to deep public curiosity in Epsteins underage sex trafficking operation, and a possible government coverup, at a time when President Trump is trying to shift attention away from the topic.
Old copies of investigative reporter Julie K. Browns 2021 book Perversion of Justice, about Epstein, have been snapped up by buyers in recent weeks, leaving the book out of stock all across the web, from Amazon and Barnes & Noble to smaller and independent shops.
Brown said she has been hearing from interested buyers who cant find any print copies. Im told the publisher is printing more copies, she wrote on X to people who have been asking. HarperCollins, the publisher, confirmed to CNN that the book is now entering its third printing. I hope it reflects that people really want to understand the story from the beginning, Brown added in an interview with CNN.

(1,558 posts)is this stuff has been out there the since the 1990's, maybe earlier, and only a few people paid attention. Unfortunately, since many of the men involved are rich, efforts will be made to continue to try to bury this at best or minimize it at worst.

He *almost* became Attorney General.
I think the issue with Epstein is that he was sitting in jail awaiting trial before he died. He had previously plead out of earlier charges almost 15 years prior (2005) before that latest 2019 trial.
In "normal times", like what happened with Eliot Spitzer and his "NY Madam", the politician would resign and disappear. But with this crowd, it's a badge of honor.

(10,011 posts)Now we have popular Republicans like Tucker delving into Epstein info big time - ignoring Trumps desires to forget the whole thing. Tuckers recent long interview with Darryl Cooper is expected to get over 40 million views.
Weird confidences? Stuff you cant make up - Bill Barrs father, Donald Barr, gave Epstein a job teaching math at the prestigious Dalton School when Barr was headmaster and Epstein was 20 and had no degree - but a few semesters at Cooper Union.
Donald Barr wrote a sick sci-fi novel Space Relations - (disturbing scenes of rape of teenage girls by wealthy men)
_THEN - his son Bill Barr is involved in the arrest of Epstein.
Dont forget Whitney Webbs two volumes on Epstein One Nation Under Blackmail

(156,847 posts)and a drop-down menu should appear with an option to "Copy image link" (or similar wording), and after selecting, that copied link can be pasted in a post. You can also save it using the same method of right-clicking the image and looking for a "Save image As" (or similar) option.
I usually save image links like that in a text file to use later.
This is the link (added a space between the "." and extension word "gif" so it wouldn't render in my reply here, but remove the space before using the link in a post) -
