Me too. I really didn't write on a calendar the last time I was in one of these establishments, but it's been at least that long.

Otherwise don't frequent any fast food joints. Easy enough to pick up a prepared sandwich at a real deli.

I haven't gone to a fast food joint in 45 years, unless you count Taco Trucks.

Never been back since my now 35 yo son outgrew happy meals.

Going out to me is a small restaurant, doesn't have to be fancy, food trucks will do as long as it's fresh food without preservatives.

I remember as a child in the 60's eating at McDonald's but it was real beef then and not unhealthy oil. I look at all fast food as poison food same way I look at highly processed food in the store with a ton of weird sounding ingredients.

I started boycotting them when they raised coffee prices 70%. And continued after their idiot decision on diversity, inclusion and equality.
Like so many other fat cats, I don't want them or need them in my life.

... nobody should be going to that place with frequency of a week or less! I can see maybe 1x per month as a treat for kids. Maybe to get the toy. Eat real food!

I was already “meh” on McCraps with all the other options available out there and that bit of cynicism and disrespect of the then serving Vice President tipped me out.

I doubt I have been in one a dozen times in my life. I do support the boycott though. That crap is so bad for you.

French Fries with horseradish mayo. Made from fresh potatoes, they are 1000 times better than fast food.

Fries were addictive, though.

boycotting McDonald's for decades. When I was in college, we boycotted Burger King because they were a major donor to Nixon's campaign.

When they refused to use Canadian beef with a stupid statement that there was not enough beef in Canada to supply them. Total BS.

I can't remember the last time I ate fast food. But I love to cook! Just reading recipes is my idea of a good time.

Seems like a lot of people older than 60 or younger than 20 working there. In past times people died younger so there were no McDonalds. No staff.

I decided on a breakfast burrito. For a free meal it wasn't bad but didn't inspire me to eat there on my own.

Each item has increased tremendously at McDonalds, but no one is mentioning "SHRINKFLATION" of ALL their food items.

If you consider everything being 2/3rds the former size, the new prices are considerably worse than what they claim are the prices.....
The Fast food chains are all battling for massive profits.........Much smaller versions for even higher prices. They just don't understand that they are pricing themselves out of business, with their main audience..............

Everyone who can afford their prices, should boycott them permanently..........Hit the wealthy republicans, who own most of the franchises, where it hurts.......they are already making much more due to the Republican's/Trumps tax cuts..........

People say Boycott the Corporations........If you boycotted the Corporations that put Trump/Republicans in control, you probably wouldn't be able to buy Anything......

The simplest definition of FASCISM, is the merging of Corporations and Government, and we are already there, folks.
I am waiting for Trump to rename the United States of America, to the United Corporations of America........

But at least try to quit utilizing the Corporations, like fast food, that you can do without.............

Is their food worse that all the other fast food joints? No, in fact they have more healthy options that most of their competitors.

All the fast food places have jacked up prices.

None of them have union employees.

A coworker asked me to have lunch with him eight years ago. I agreed, and he wanted to eat at McDonald's. Before that, it had been closer to fifteen years since I ate there, out of desperation while on a road trip.

When I compared the taste of a hamburger I cooked at home with a bare McD's hamburger patty. McD's didn't taste like beef. Also, I realized if I put ketchup, onions, and pickles in their bun, it didn't taste much different than one with their "meat" in it.

Since then, I eat fast food maybe twice a year.
