Trump's border czar threatens arrest for immigration interference, warns Newsom and Bass not to 'cross that line'

Source: NBC News

June 8, 2025, 1:09 PM EDT

LOS ANGELES — The Trump administration’s border czar warned that immigration enforcement will continue “every day” in Los Angeles, hinting that even elected officials could face arrest if they interfere with agents on the ground.

Tom Homan, appointed by President Donald Trump, appeared undeterred by the volatile protests against federal agents in Los Angeles who were carrying out immigration raids. Enforcement would be a daily occurrence, he said in a late-Saturday interview with NBC News. “I’m telling you what, we’re going to keep enforcing law every day in L.A.,” Homan said. “Every day in L.A., we’re going to enforce immigration law. I don’t care if they like it or not.”

Parts of Los Angeles County erupted in wide-scale protests on Saturday after residents learned that Immigration and Customs Enforcement raids were happening in the area. Demonstrations descended into chaos, with videos showing protesters surrounding federal law enforcement on the ground and in vehicles. At least one person was hit by a car they were trying to stop from moving.

While many protests around the city remained peaceful, some escalated into clashes where authorities deployed tear gas and officers fired what appeared to be less-lethal ammunition at demonstrators. The Los Angeles Police Department arrested 11 people Saturday night for failure to disperse, according to a law enforcement source familiar with the situation.

This little small-town 45 suck-up (who apparently became a MAGat convert during 45's first term after serving under Obama and then 45 apparently demoted him), better get a clue. L.A. is right next to Compton.

And start hitting the farmworkers, we'll be losing about a quarter of our food supply. Let's see how haughty Mr. Inhooman is then, and how quickly TACO acts.

People who sign up for this are so stupid. If they're lawyers, they also lose their right to practice. Indictments will rain down on them at some point.

according to Wikipedia:

The governor of California may call individuals or units of the California National Guard into state service during emergencies or special situations. The state mission of the National Guard is: "To provide trained and disciplined forces for domestic emergencies or as otherwise provided by state law."

The primary reason why we have a 2nd Amendment is to protect the freedoms of a State's residents against a Federal force that has gone rogue and is eliminating those rights and freedoms for no good reason, including rights to free speech.

Putinfluffer doesn't give a shit about all that. He is a crook, he is in a habit of not observing the law. Recall them recalling Jackson's stance about the court enforcing their own decisions. We are in a really bad time.

a state militia that only he commands. Trump would have no control over it.

They could ensure the safety of protesters, and with the help of Karen Bass, help contain them in designated protest areas. Taking it one step further, Newsom might even use the Guard to monitor ICE raids to ensure that they are not abusing the rights of California residents.

Told to go home to avoid being arrested. --- Aiding 'illegals'/undocs.

Doesn't that sound like grounds for arrest?

Like Trump, Kid Rock would rather hire 'illegals'/undocs than pay Americans.
