DOGE caucus leader says Elon Musk made a 'massive exaggeration' about spending cuts

Shortly after the feud between President Donald Trump and Elon Musk hit its apex on Thursday, a key DOGE-minded lawmaker in Congress had some pointed words about the world's richest man. "Most everybody knew Elon was exaggerating to what he could do," Republican Rep. Blake Moore of Utah told reporters outside the Capitol. "He was claiming finding $4 billion a day in cuts he was going to get. One time, he said $2 trillion, he was going to find."

"It's a massive exaggeration, and I think people are recognizing that now," Moore said. The Utah Republican is one of the three co-leaders of the House DOGE caucus, a bipartisan group of lawmakers who had hoped to support Musk's cost-cutting efforts.

The caucus met a handful of times at the beginning of the year, and leaders previously told BI that they intended to compile a report of potential cost-saving measures for DOGE at the end of the first quarter of this year. That didn't end up happening, in part because the White House DOGE Office ultimately had little interaction with the caucus. One Democratic member declared the group to be "dead" last month.

"We've always been a little frustrated that there was such limited interaction," Moore said on Thursday. "We couldn't really identify where we were to lean in, and we had a ton of folks ready to support it, but there just wasn't that interaction." Musk did not respond to a request for comment.

But you all sat there and let it happen and are, right now, drafting bills to retroactively CODIFY what was done despite it NOT "saving" any money, but instead, destroying the entire federal government from within.

... like trDUMP exaggerates about everything he mentions about his business plans on the drawing board and then his accomplishments and follow through upon delivery.

Look at Tesla,...

* eLoon promised the no hands auto drive would be available three years ago. It still is not ready to offer to the general public. eloon charges customers extra to activate the autonomous drive but the NTSB has serious reservations if it is street ready yet.

* Look at the crashes and fires the Tesla car is susceptible to, and the deaths that have been caused.

* Look at the Hype about the Cybertruck. It is bullet proof,.. lead projectiles fire from a gun will just bounce off. The windows are special special laminated glass and they can not be broken even by a brick. Well the grand intro on stage to sell the public on this truck proved otherwise - the window glass and windshield was not unbreakable but shattered like standard auto glass.

The Cybertruck has had more recalls because of dangerous design problem, shoddy workmanship, and low cost cheap assembly practices from the factory.

* eLoon's 18 wheel tractor trailers powered by electric motors and batteries were promised to be ready and on the road over two years ago. Where are they ? Just another eLonn pie in the sky promise to deliver but the item never materialized.

* The SEC was investigating eLoon for his pie in the sky promises to customers and shareholders to deliver products to market. But again and again it was more bullshit and hype from eLoon as he deceived his shareholders and investors. Those government investigations miraculously disappeared once eLoon unleashed his teenaged DOGE boys to delete the investigatory files and evidence against eLoon and his companies.

* eLoon's promise to have a human colony on Mars in two years is a bunch of bunk. How can we afford to venture to Mars when our national debt if ballooning and ballooning year after year. Musk sees mega federal dollars going into his personal bank accounts,.. that is why he comes up with all these hair brained schemes.

It is all a vehicular motif to achieve astounding levels of personal self-enrichment - that is all these Fascist cyberbroligarchs give a fuck about.
