Elon Musk Crosses the Rubicon: 'Without Me, Trump Would Have Lost the Election'

Source: Mediaite.com

Elon Musk crossed the Rubicon on Thursday afternoon. The ex-DOGE chief has not been shy about voicing his opposition to President Donald Trump’s “Big, Beautiful Bill,” the would-be signature legislative achievement of the president’s second term. But until recently, he had not personally attacked Trump himself. That all changed on Thursday, when Musk fired off a few posts that are likely to turn the cold war between himself and the president hot.

Reacting to a clip of Trump asserting in the Oval Office that he “would have won Pennsylvania easily” without Musk and his support in the election, Musk wrote, “Without me, Trump would have lost the election, Dems would control the House and the Republicans would be 51-49 in the Senate.”

Musk was also set off by Trump arguing that Musk’s displeasure with the “Big, Beautiful Bill” stems from his support for electric vehicle mandates and subsidies, as well as his claim that Musk “knew every aspect of this bill.” “Whatever. Keep the EV/solar incentive cuts in the bill, even though no oil & gas subsidies are touched (very unfair!!), but ditch the MOUNTAIN of DISGUSTING PORK in the bill,” said Musk in one post. “In the entire history of civilization, there has never been legislation that both big and beautiful. Everyone knows this! Either you get a big and ugly bill or a slim and beautiful bill. Slim and beautiful is the way.”

“False, this bill was never shown to me even once and was passed in the dead of night so fast that almost no one in Congress could even read it!” shot back Musk in another. In another personal attack, Musk shared a post including screenshots of Trump railing against the national debt and Republicans for failing to curb it, and added the caption, “Where is this guy today??”

Only, without, you know, the military experience and bravery.

One beheaded, one stabbed to death.

I like this outcome for Trump and Musk.

but look at him! He's old, he's wearing so much pancake makeup it's probably holding the skin to his bones! And you can't get much worse for bags around the eyes. He looks old and evil. It's like the ugliness of his soul is draping his entire face. It's a face only the devil, himself, could love. All trump needs is either red or black eyes/pupils.

Expose the truth and then fade away, I read somewhere that there is an organization examine the 2024 election and its irregularities. The musket knows what really happened.

sounds clearly like a confession and cause for Dems to contact Greg Palast and Thom Hartman for ideas on what/when/where/how to start an investigation.......

Both Elon and Trump know that there will be a Dem congress / administration at some point. Elon is just protecting his business and financial interests from any potential future Dem blowback.

I do not believe that outing is Epstein connection or admitting that Trump would've lost without him is something Trump would agree to having announced.

So I think it's possible that it was planned by musk, but not by Trump. But that's pure speculation on my part.

Democrats just underestimated the power of misogyny again, and failed to deal with it appropriately, again, although what I saw of the ads lacked the syrupy piano music, at least. Trust me, that helped.

Maybe we could sell a woman candidate after King Fly Agaric Dick with "It's time to vote for a woman. We've been cleaning up after sloppy ,men for ten thousand years."

It would be funny, true, and non threatening to misogynist "traditionalists." We'd need to run a woman with the soul of a rabid wolverine who sees her purpose in office as going after the billionaires, their monopolies, and their corporations that should have been heavily regulated as public utilities decades ago.

Hey, I can dream, right?

They keep trying to build this "warrior" culture today. Only they think only men have what it takes to be a warrior. Bah! Mother Bear with Cub ring a bell? I have an idea! Let's run an Amazon warrior! They can have one of the greatest warriors of all times and genders as president. Of course, I wouldn't put a dime on the reputation of men afterwards. But hea, after all this time, turn about is fair play. Let's interfere with their reproductive rights. Let's make it so they need a woman's permission to buy a car, buy a house, rent an apartment, or file for a divorce. Oooh... this *could* be fun, in a retributive type of way.
