SAN DIEGO (KGTV) A South Bay man told ABC 10News he got an email from the Department of Homeland Security saying he had to leave the United States, even though he's an American citizen.
ABC 10News anchor Melissa Mecija sat down with Aldo Martinez Gomez, who works with a nonprofit organization and helps people with immigration cases.
Martinez Gomez said he received an email from DHS instructing him to leave the country last week. The email also stated that his parole would terminate seven days after the date of the notice. "I believe I received it because I'm an accredited representative, and I represent immigrants, and I advocate for immigrants' rights in the court. Ive been doing that for years," he told ABC 10News.
Martinez Gomez was born in National City. He thinks the email is an intimidation tactic. "I do get nervous, because I don't want to be an error like so many errors that this administration has made," he said. "They have been talking about deporting U.S. citizens, so it is a concern because that means I'm on their radar."

The intimidation factor has ramped up in this San Diego border area significantly - I'm seeing an increased Border Patrol presence in areas all around: Big men dressed in dark clothing wearing some sort of jack boot w/Border Patrol emblazoned across their back.

I expect more of this when the Trump stagflation recession is in full swing and unemployment is high.

The problem isnt the WHAT* it is the HOW. Some of their moves have been wrong but worked. They have flat out dropped the ball all over the place on others and it seems like more as every day goes by.

(30,367 posts)I saw news clippings from several parts of the country. All the people involved were born in the U.S., none are Hispanic or of any other minority. In other words, they are white. Two women who received these emails are immigration attorneys. One woman is a physician. A man in his sixties is retired and was born in PA. YouTube has a host of similar interviews done by local TV affiliates. What the heck is going on????
