RFK Jr. 'Not Familiar' With $11B Public Health Cuts In His Own Dept

Source: crooksandliars.com

In case you have any doubt he’s not just a dangerous quack but dangerously incompetent and unfit to head our Health and Human Services Dept.

By NewsHound Ellen — April 10, 2025

................
It turns out RFK Jr., the person ostensibly in charge of the FDA, is shockingly clueless, too. Anti-vaxxer Kennedy appeared on CBS News Wednesday morning, presumably to rehab his image after the public health cuts and during a mushrooming measles epidemic among the unvaccinated, made worse by Texans taking toxic levels of Vitamin A, thanks to Kennedy’s half-baked advocacy.

Kennedy was asked by CBS’ Dr. Jon LaPook about the cuts made to public health personnel and programs. Kennedy claimed to know nothing about any of them. Nor did he seem at all sorry about his ignorance.

LAPOOK: You propose more than $11 billion in cuts to local and state programs addressing things like infectious disease, mental health, addiction and childhood vaccination. Did you personally approve those cuts?

KENNEDY: I'm not familiar with those cuts. I, I mean - we have to go - we'd have to go –

LAPOOK: There's like, more than 50 pages of, you know, of cuts that I actually went through.................................

In his first network TV interview since becoming Health and Human Services secretary under the Trump administration, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. spoke with CBS News chief medical correspondent Dr. Jon LaPook about the measles vaccine, major government cuts and health care costs.

LaPook met with Kennedy in Mesa, Arizona, where he visited a native health center as part of a three-state tour to promote the Trump administration's "Make America Healthy Again" agenda, which includes overhauling standards for food processing.

"FDA needs to start regulating food again and saying, you know, not just when food is adulterated, when there's bacteria in it, let's look at the chemicals in it," Kennedy said.

Cuts to health programs and staffing

Since his appointment in February, Kennedy has facilitated sweeping cuts affecting a wide range of programs and employees...........................

And he’s been very active in AA for over 40 yrs - still goes to AA meetings almost every day. Like him or hate him - anyone who is able to overcome a heroin addiction for 40 yrs should not be constantly called a drug addict forever. Many might take drugs having your uncle & dad murdered when you are so young.

He’s been one of our top environmental lawyers.
He took hundreds of agencies &
corporations to court for polluting the US & Mexico and he was on the team of lawyers who took on Monsanto/Bayer - and his team WON $290 million for cancer patient.

“Environmental lawyer, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. son of the late U.S. Senator, Robert F. (“Bobby”) Kennedy and nephew of the late President, John F. Kennedy, and his team, have won an historic $290 million landmark case against agricultural giant Monsanto and its glyphosate-based product “Round-up” claiming the product likely caused the cancer of their client, plaintiff Dewayne Johnson a former school groundskeeper.” https://www.irishcentral.com/news/robert-f-kennedy-case-monsanto-roundup-weed-killer

Some of his most high-profile victories include:

From AI
1. DuPont Case (2007): Kennedy was part of the legal team that secured a $396 million jury verdict against DuPont for contamination from its zinc plant in Spelter, West Virginia. This was a significant win for rural communities affected by toxic pollution.

2. DuPont PFOA Settlement (2017): He contributed to a $670 million settlement on behalf of over 3,000 residents in Ohio and West Virginia whose drinking water was contaminated with perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA) from DuPont’s Parkersburg facility.

3. Monsanto Roundup Cases: Kennedy joined the Morgan & Morgan law firm in 2016 and was involved in lawsuits against Monsanto, alleging that its glyphosate-based herbicide Roundup caused non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma. While he was not the lead attorney in the landmark 2018 case that awarded $289 million (later reduced to $78 million), his firm’s collaboration contributed to subsequent multibillion-dollar settlements, including a $10 billion resolution in 2020 affecting thousands of plaintiffs.

4. General Electric and ExxonMobil Cases: Through Riverkeeper, Kennedy helped win cases against General Electric for toxic runoff into the Hudson River and against ExxonMobil, securing a court order to clean up millions of gallons of spilled oil in Brooklyn, New York.

5. New York City Watershed Agreement (1997): While not a courtroom victory in the traditional sense, Kennedy played a leading role in negotiating this landmark agreement, which protected New York City’s drinking water supply and set a global standard for watershed protection through stakeholder consensus.

Being uneducated is his forte.

TSF chose his cabinet secretaries and agency heads based on their suck-up talents, not competency. They’re there to fabricate stories and deflect criticism, while the undersecretaries stay out of the limelight and decimate the organizations.
