Clearly they intend to target (shame?) those with to little testosterone, will excess testosterone also lead to dismissals? Will guys or women with to much beard be singled out for one form of humiliation or another?
I would prefer that Hegseth be tested for a brain
.there is considerable doubt, if not evidence, that he is short in that metric. As a matter of fact I think it would be appropriate for him to be drug tested every time he opens his absurd trump sucker and says stupid stuff.

(5,148 posts)It is a fundamental component to conscious experience in humans. It interacts with, and in turn impacts, the wiring and firing of the brain and so have a profound influence on how we act, interact, and respond.
"At the base of every war crime is testosterone" reduces the crimes to the deeds of the chemical, not the individuals who conducted the war crimes.
Testosterone does not orient the moral axis of the individual, which lives somewhere in the amygdala and the frontal cortex. If you wanted to implicate a chemical as the root of crimes, I think dopamine might have something to say. Dopamine always has something to say.
You raise the interesting point that, no matter what, there will be a humiliation across the board for military members receiving testosterone testing. Test tests for the testes.
However, this policy is just gender affirming care for cis men. It is a way for his DOD to get steroids if they want it. That's all. I don't think they'll start dismissing "low T warriors" which is maybe not a great band name.
Thanks for your post.

(21,184 posts)Navy, and Airmen, Pervitin. It was pure methamphetamine. That's why their "blitz kreig" worked so well.....for a while.
Hitler himself was a junkie. His "doctor" injected him with a cocktail of drugs each day. Hitler actually thought they were vitamins.
Until the doctor couldn't get Hitler's "vitamins" anymore near the end of the war. Hitler suffered from depression and withdrawal after that, then shot himself.
Trump's "Turd Reich" would naturally follow Hitler's course of action.
You'll never convince me that Hair Furor isn't being chemically propelled 24/7/365. Just like his hero, Hitler.
