Todd Blanche's license to practice law falls under the New York State Bar

...the same bar that the judge overseeing the Trump IRS con which rejected it and promised to refer Blanche to the NY bar association for further discipline.

U.S. District Judge Kathleen M. Williams oversaw the lawsuit against the IRS, condemning the case as a collusive exercise in self-dealing brought for an "improper purpose". She ordered a copy of her scathing ruling to be sent to the New York State Bar Association, where Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche is a member, to aid in ongoing ethics investigations.

...this administration intent on breaking everything they touch.

In fact, I'm certain it's just another norm the 'make a wish' presidency would break, made in the Holder term, I think.

We need a law mandating it.

According to Allison Gill (Mueller, She Wrote) a couple days ago, you "don't need a law license in good standing" to be Attorney General of the US.
