Currently reading REGIME CHANGE...Oh my!!

On Sunday after doing some shopping at Target across the street from me, I walked over to Barnes & Noble bookseller and asked if they had a copy of the book in. The person behind the Customer Service desk took my name and phone number. Tuesday evening, I had a call. The book was in and I could come and get my copy.

Oh my! This is a page turner. Maggie Haberman and Jonathan Swan go into great background detail about the first year of the 2nd Trump term. It is more horrifying than can be imagined. This book was a Bestseller before it was even published. I recommend buying it!

The book is an eye opener. It dives deeper into the psyche of this horrible man. I read Mary Trump's books as well.

I finished it last week. Though it was revealing, sadly I was rarely surprised.

I have the book on my Kindle but I can only read a few pages at a time. I'm surprised that Maggie Haberman is using a more professional tone in this book, and by that I mean she isn't Chump's secret-buddy anymore. She actually questions his ability and judgment a lot of the time. I kind of expected her to be the Chump-apologist like she has been in her previous writings.

But she knows she'll sell more books if she brings the gossip and the tales-outside-of-school.

10. I just finished it. It seemed most of the stuff had been discussed here before, but they did go into greater detail

on the background and that was very interesting. There was one thing - a really, really stupid thing - that made me laugh out loud. I don't want to be a spoiler for you, but it involves the gentleman who runs the Smithsonian getting a tour of the White House directed by Dear Leader (expert on everything).

That's why I applaud the book, she's giving the info to people (at least some) who weren't paying much attention while it was all happening. And she's not white-washing Chump's methods and motives either. So that's a good thing.
