Then there is a provision that applies to the Trump litigants themselves: They cant use the supposed settlement agreement. They cant use it to keep the government from investigating or charging them, or doing anything else

Williams did order sanctions against the lawyers who filed the suit on Trumps behalf. That included banning all parties from referring to the settlement as legitimate in any future legal proceeding.
