Pete Hegseth just blocked the promotions of seven senior Navy officers — five of whom are women or people of color — to two-star admiral rank.

For the first time in more than a decade, no female active-duty naval officers are likely to be promoted to admiral this year.

No one like him would have survived a week in a Trump administration, anyhow. Even Nixon tried to ditch him. Introducing the right of women and POC to become officers in the Navy, horrors!!
