Watch the moment a would-be assaulter is chased away by dogs (v. short video)

A man has been captured on camera running from a pack of eight dogs, after reportedly trying to sexually assault two women who were walking the dogs at the time.

Footage obtained by this masthead shows the man charging down a concrete overflow area on the banks of Gardiners Creek in Kooyong, with a number of dogs in hot pursuit.

Victoria Police have confirmed they are investigating an attempted sexual assault in the area around 11.30am on Tuesday.
