The American people have been under attack from a domestic enemy for the last ten years...

They have been terrorized by Trump and the Republicans. They don't know if they might be arrested for something they might say? They might be shot if they are on the street at the same time as the jack-booted ICE agents. They feel their freedom to move about has been affected. Every day, it is another threat. They are bombarded with propaganda telling them that it is not what they think it is. It is the "golden age" of America. But, it doesn't feel like a "golden age".

We have endured under a criminal regime, with no regard for the laws of our country. But more than the physical threats, it is the mental duress that people have had to endure. They may as well be running for the bomb shelters. The weight on the American people is very heavy.
