We need more of this.

Rutte still walked the line very carefully. He's a pro. But we need to make these people in power accountable and hammer them with tough questions. Something Trump truly resents and he resorts to personal attacks right away when it happens.

Our whores are under no illusions - they ask the hard questions, their boss (the street pimp) fires them because the goon (the Slobfather) cuts off their access and they are in financial trouble. Like any good mafia family the buttonmen have to be good earners to stay in the good graces of the don...in our malformed and broken government, this extends to the press and turns our reporters into whores.

the hard questions than the corporate eunuchs we have to listen to.
So refreshing to hear real journalism from BBC and other foreign press compared to the tea party softballs we hear.

Glad she basically called him out.

Sorry, I’m not impressed with his leadership. European leadership is thought of as weak becuase it is. They’re able to get bullied by Trump becuase they’ve put themselves in this situation.

Allies currently meeting the NATO guideline to spend a minimum of 2% of their Gross Domestic Product (GDP) on defence will aim to continue to do so. Likewise, Allies spending more than 20% of their defence budgets on major equipment, including related Research & Development, will continue to do so.
Allies whose current proportion of GDP spent on defence is below this level will:
halt any decline in defence expenditure;
aim to increase defence expenditure in real terms as GDP grows;
aim to move towards the 2% guideline within a decade with a view to meeting their NATO Capability Targets and filling NATO's capability shortfalls.
Allies who currently spend less than 20% of their annual defence spending on major new equipment, including related Research & Development, will aim, within a decade, to increase their annual investments to 20% or more of total defence expenditures.
