Pope Leo XIV Said Just Three Words to the Cardinals -- and Every One of Them Turned Pale

?si=xhZ5547CM3k6C-WF

I'm a Jesuit educated white male, that is also a 50 year long practicing Ex-Catholic.

But, holy smokes, Pope Leo seems to be shaking up the entire foundation of the Catholic Church business model. Worth a watch. I'm liking this guy's approach. 1st, get your own house in order....than 2nd, go after the real evils in this world.

In no universe am I watching a 30-minute video (or even a 5-minute one), but looking at the transcript I see this:

His secretary asked if he needed anything. Leo shook his head. Then he said something. his secretary would later describe as the most chilling sentence he had ever heard from the pope. Tomorrow, Leo said, they will understand that the shepherd knows his flock. All of it.

That folder had arrived 48 hours earlier. It was hand delivered to the Pope's private residence by a Vatican official whose identity has not been publicly confirmed. No appointment was logged. No record exists of the visit. What is known is that the material came from deep inside the secretariat of state from someone who had been quietly gathering information for over 6 months.

Says who? Says who. In addition, the style of writing is identical to any of those breathless and utterly false AI Facebook posts about Tom Hanks or Cher or Michelle Obama clapping back at Kayleigh McEnany or Stephen Miller or Kid Rock. It's all garbage.

I wish posters would at least vet their stuff before posting.

Perhaps DU could add a flag to hide the video section on the home page since it has become mostly trash?

Pope seems to be going after segments of the institutional Church that are actively sabotaging the Pope's agenda.

But, I guess, this could be AI make believe. I wanna believe that this is real.

AI don't care about faith or belief or trust. And it is so easily created by "evil" actors.

all supposedly inside info, all marked as urgent and/or as something that happened only minutes ago.

All AI-generated bullshit. Pure clickbait.

Damn the people posting this crap, and the unethical AI companies with their illegally trained tools that are filling the internet with AI slop and misinformation and disinformation.

YouTube channels to look for signs that they're posting AI slop.

This is the third such channel posted here today. The first I saw was an AI slop channel posting videos about earthquakes - videos filled with errors.

Then there was a video from an AI channel posting nothing but fake statements from Bill Clinton, using an AI copy of his voice.

And now this channel that tricked you...

Oh, well. I watched England beat Mexico anyway, and when England won the fans sang Wonderwall again.

No real.insider is going to be posting clickbait videos every day that all say Breaking News and URGENT! THREE MINUTES AGO! with lots of ridiculous tabloidy clickbait titles.

Usually just how ridiculous these channels are is obvious when you look at the page with all of them, instead of just one you run into in isolation.

Those videos may sometimes touch on something that actually happened - in which case the actual news about the pope would probably have been posted in LBN.

But you shouldn't believe anything in that AI slop that wasn't reported by real news organizations. It's a waste of time to watch AI-generated clickbait videos.

The Tales of Peace YouTube channel (@TalesofPeace-s9t) is a Catholic-focused platform with over 56,000 subscribers. It publishes narrative-driven videos, often using AI-generated or manipulated audio to present sensational, "behind-the-scenes" stories and supposed private revelations within the Vatican.

Much of the channel's content focuses on dramatic, fabricated, or heavily embellished sermons and warnings attributed to "Pope Leo XIV". Viewers should be aware that similar accounts on YouTube have previously faced platform suspensions for deceptive practices and spreading unverified or fraudulent claims.
