Make No Mistake Why Krasnov Surrendered To Iran

1 reason and 1 reason only - not surrendering meant $7/gal gas on the 4th of July, something that would have been catastrophic for Krasnov.

Countries around the world have been using up their strategic oil supplies, they are at unprecedented low levels, including the US.

Krasnov couldn't bomb Iran again, it would result in $7/gal gas, an invasion of Kharg Island would do the same. Even if Krasnov wanted to bomb Iran again, after 13,000 air strikes he has depleted our inventory of missiles and bombs, up to 2 to 3 years worth.

I fully expect Krasnov's fossil fuel pals to keep gas prices as low as possible for the 4th of July, after all Krasnov gave away the store to them; a pause in the Jones Act, invoking the war power act, giving away our federal land to drill on, doing everything he can to destroy alternative energy.

Make no mistake, the fossil fuel industry owes Krasnov a big one, so barring some earth-shattering development, I fully expect the price of gas to be below $4/gal by the 4th of July. They can rig it for him, OPEC is just a bunch of ugly sisters not invited to the ball.

His biggest wet dream comes true- the US is reduced to a minor annoyance, no longer a world superpower.

2. $7 a gallon is still on the table It will take months to get back to normal

$7 gas is still a possibility . Reserves around the world are near tank bottom so the oil that comes out of Hormuz will mostly go to replentishing those reserves. This will take months even if everything goes well.

It all depends on where you are in the US. West Coast is the most expensive.

4. AAA tracks state and national gas and diesel prices daily, and it is just under $4 per gallon.

A lot of manipulation is going into the price drop. I fully expect the price will hold steady under $4 for a while, and will slowly creep up as the latest "understanding" between the US and Iran shows to be nothing more than political posturing; no actual substance.
Iran is playing Trump, because they know he's "negotiating" from a position of weakness, and Trump is desperate for something he can claim as a win.

5. Yes. And about those ballistic missle's? Rumor had it right before China was going to sell Iran hypersonic missles

Will this go forward? This will give Iran the cash for those? Those are 100x's harder to defend against than Irans current inventory of flying weapons. There's nothing even being hinted at at who and/or what kind of weapons systems Iran can buy with this cash they're getting. Could set the stage for a Middle East cold war with conventional weapons which in the end wouldn't be so cold for very long.

The oil companies, know they're in the catbird seat. They just have to wait a few more months, and pretty soon the price for gasoline will climb inexorably, and never come back down. Regardless of what happens with Iran, our gas will be up to $10 per gallon in a few years, and by then we'll all be trading our cars in for electric golf carts.
