I have had to wear body makeup on many occasions.

That stuff is almost impossible to get out of certain things. I have had to sacrifice sheets before thanks to having work that required body paint or big prosthetics.

THEN at the top of your photo it says "copy link" with 3 dots. click on the dots.
THEN it says "edit" "get share links" "download image" and click on "get share links"
THEN it shows link options. you want the 3rd one down, "BBCode Forums" - click on that & it copies the link
FINALLY come back here and paste the link.

I lost the ability to post images months ago on Imgur. Finally quit trying. Sigh

If I could figure out what happened, I could probably figure out how to fix it. I’ve followed so many DU’ers instructions and all to no avail. It could be I’m just too fucking old to be able to operate some of this tech.

Sucks. So I post some of those things on my blog.

i know there have been a lot of pictures i wanted to save to my computer to post but when i right click on the photo and do the "save image as" they don't always open in my file as a JPEG or PNG which seems are the only types i have that imgur takes. sometimes the pictures come up as WEBP file and i can't do shit with those unless i manage to copy it into a "paint" program i have and then try to save it from there.

Free images works for a little while, but if an image gets really popular it fails and demands that the hosting account be switched to premium. I think the applicable phrase is bait-and-switch.

They should be avoided for posting to DU (or anywhere else).

It was a good hosting site years ago, but it went to crap and I stopped using it about a year ago.

In the very same blue-box image that tells you they are not going to show you the linked image, they still claim to offer "free image hosting" ... just rude. A good lawyer might have fun with this company.
