than loose agreements for future talks about the possibility of a deal. The quagmire deepens.

when you look at what the Mehr News Agency actually wrote, at https://en.mehrnews.com/news/244874/Iran-rejects-Western-ultimatums-eyes-new-order-for-Hormuz , rather than a specific statement about the proposals (which Trump has also not made a statement about)

so I'm not sure why you've put it in quotes. The mention of Trump in the article is

'Responding to questions about Trump's statements regarding the elimination of Iran's enriched uranium stockpile, Baghaei said, "At this stage, our focus is on ending the war, and we have nothing to say about details related to enrichment and Iran's enriched uranium."'

And, as we all know, Trump hasn't actually made an "offer" yet - he's held a meeting, and then said nothing (who knows why - normally he shoots his mouth off and others have to clear up).

I would say you are reading too much into an Iranian news article.

There's not even a framework for the discussions. It's worse than what I'm saying. Nothing is going to be agreed upon and the world is going to slip into an economic depression.

I'm not seeing it on WaPo, NYT, or WSJ. Do you have a link to Bloomberg?

I personally think even saying "Iranian state media" on DU should trigger the kookiness rule. We're getting to the midterms, and there's nothing Republicans would like better than to see references to that.

Honestly, it should be enough to reiterate the simple fact that the Iranian Islamic Republic regime is nothing but bigots and theocrats. Google it if you have any doubt.

What you're saying makes no sense. If you don't want to know the news, don't read it.

It's not even progressive or liberal. Just look up the Iranian Islamic Republic and what its composed of. It's billionaires. It's oligarchs. It's theocrats. It's homophobes. It's about as patriarchal as you can get.

They have nothing to say that anyone should care about. The good news is, anyone who cares what Iranian Islamic Republic state media has to say can Google them. It can be very freeing.
