How can CORRUPTION not be an issue in November?

Just define the corruption that is being done.

When they are stealing from the IRS, it is beyond suspicion.

The people need a change.

The people deserve a change.

The corruption stinks to high heaven.

For example, no bid contracts to people inside the White House, including family members.

Would enable. Bureaucrats can do well, too.

Members of Congress make a decent wage, but DC is an expensive place to live. One wouldn’t expect a member’s wealth to grow dramatically. Why do we hear about poor ol’ so-and-so making it to Congress then find out that a few years later, they’re a multi-millionaire? Members should be required to reconcile current wealth to their original worth.

I was reading a few days ago about Republican Pete Olson from Texas. His net worth in 2009 when he came to Congress was $85,000. He left Congress in 2021, but by 2018, he had a reported net worth of up to $8.7 million.

Maybe he wrote a book. Advances on writing books are notorious for building sudden wealth, given the public’s gargantuan hunger for politicians’ memoirs.

No one should gain excessive wealth while working in or around government in DC.

It would be interesting to know how many politicians don’t leave DC after they no longer serve in Congress and end up on the Dc gravy train.

I’m from Arkansas. I was just thinking about three Senators the voters have voted out in recent memory—Blanche Lincoln, Mark Pryor and Tim Hutchinson. All three were back-benchers with short, unremarkable Senatorial careers. I just Googled all three. Guess where they work and live? Yep. DC.

That type of thing may not be corruption per se, but it certainly is “swampy.”

since Reagan, at least.

RWers won't vote Dem because they're "just as bad or worse."
