The lead federal prosecutor on the James Comey seashell case resigned in protest, submitting a one-sentence resignation letter stating it was "to uphold my oath to the Constitution and the country". This departure happened just minutes after the former FBI director was indicted.

Why would a prosecutor go to a grand jury, make the case, then immediately resign after the indictment? I think these are two different lawyers.
