Maybe it is time to create a fourth branch of government?

We could create a fourth branch of government which will be the Attorney general. The AG office would handle all prosecutions and civil lawsuits independent of the Executive Branch. Just a thought.

Republicans in the other 2 current branches don't provide any checks and balances as is. The Attorney General would still have to be appointed by the President or Congress - so you would still get a Pam Bondi or Todd Blanche who would act as Trump's personal attorney and not in the interest of the American people.

With DOJ independent from the other branches. Constitutional amendment.

We’ve seen what can happen with a rogue president selecting and controlling the AG.

With Congress, the Supreme Court/justice, and the executive branch being the first 3 branches.
