Today, I'm feeling just a smidgeon of hope.

I'm very aware of the times before where Trump is concerned when I felt some hope, and those hopes were dashed the next day. So, I'm going to try to just enjoy the rest of today before that happens tomorrow. If it doesn't happen, then I'll be grateful.

Two things today: The judge ruling that the Trump name has to be taken off of the Kennedy Center, and the other judge reopening the IRS investigation.

Allow me this hope for the rest of today. Even if you disagree with me. Because I need some hope. We all do. If I'm being foolish, you can call me that tomorrow.

But TWO judges today! Happy Birthday, John F. Kennedy!

I only hope these hits keep on coming. We can't take much more of this. I still believe we're going to have some level of PTSD once we sweep the GOP out of government and start repairing everything they've broken.

I don't see how we can keep from having that. But I know that once Trump is history, I want to see efforts to make sure that no one like him can ever gain power in this country again and not have the checks and balances that the founding fathers intended. I will work for that when that time comes.

I was just reading about the maggots in the food in the facility in New Jersey. No doubt that is happening in all of those horrible detention places. Little children forced to eat that. It's sick and disgusting.

So any one of THEM that pays a price, I'll take it. Like you, that makes me happy.

Thank you for this! Including noting President Kennedy.

I am confident that most of the federal courts will hold. Obviously the USSC has made some horrible decisions in the cowardly felon's presidency, but there are indications that a majority are recognizing the threat the administration poses to democracy and the rule of law.

I was a child when he was killed, but I have memories of the event and the aftermath. I remember the mood of the country before Dallas, and after Dallas.

I don't like the infatuation that Trump seems to have with him - and the crap that all of the QAnon crazies spout about him AND JFK, Jr. I've posted before about a former classmate who is full blown QAnon and I follow her for shits and giggles. Just last week, she posted something about "that man standing behind President Trump is John F. Kennedy, Jr., and he's been working behind the scenes" blah blah blah.

JFK, Jr. died in a plane crash as we all know. IF he HAD faked his death, he wouldn't be supporting what Donald Trump does.

The mention of the Kennedy name by Trump and/or QAnon is sacrilegious to me. It felt personal when Trump defaced the Kennedy Center by putting his name with Kennedy's - as if he were somehow an equal.

Hah! Trump wishes he commanded an ounce of the respect that JFK had.

So, needless to say, I was very happy about today's events.

I've been dealing with a lot, too much, and this daily political shit-show doesn't help at all.
I couldn't do it without some hope. We all need that, even if a little. Grab that hope, and use it for momentum.
That little push can make all the difference sometimes. We got this.

Put one foot in front of the other, and soon you'll be walking 'cross the floor...

Whatever was stressful before is now amplified by all that is happening with Trump.

I'm gonna keep walking 'cross that floor, and if you need to take my hand to keep walking (yourself) at any time, you just let me know.

Some days, I am about to give up. The stress is almost unbearable wondering what in the hell the asshole is going to do next. I get mad at myself for not being able to tune it out, but we can't. And you know why we can't? Because we care about our country and our people, and our future generations.

So you are completely right in that we all need one another to get through this!!!

That he might be moving there because of Trump's financial ventures. You know, so he can be first on hand and make a few more billions.

Wish we knew for sure...or maybe we don't want to know!
