Trump would be extradited to Iran and put on trial for war crimes.

- starting the war.
- death of civilians.
- destruction of infrastructure.
- the assassination of the Supreme Leader of Iran.

American exceptionalism says he can do all that without repercussions.

One simple 'solution' is for another country - North Korea, Russia, France - hell, anybody - to 'lend' Iran a few long range nukes so America has to implement its 'hands off a nuclear power' mantra.

Alternatively, Iran now has some solid reasons to build their own.
Just the opposite effect of what Trump wanted.
