Took 3 days off from especially drumphf (and other) news. It was Wonderful! Now back into the grime....

Especially NYC area - it was sooo dreary weather wise the whole holday weekend until a bit of sun later afternoon yesterday [Mon]; and even that was a back and forth between cloudy and a bit of sun.

Sighhhh.... at least I/we have our community!

Actually, from a sun POV, I can't complain and I do love my Colorado sunny days, but am terrified at how much snowpack (already at record lows) is melting off so early and am no longer EVER complacent about wildfires. At least the usual morons did not set off illegal fireworks--risking a fire-- anywhere that I could hear.

Do I sound like I need those calming sensations... Boy, do I! Enjoy!

I think I read about about the earlier snow melt.

When visited my cousin when he was at Denver U decades back he took me up into The Rockies on a motorcycle. Where we stopped by a lake we could see the snow capped blues by distance Continental Divide mountains. Glorious!

Thank goodness no fireworks near you!! I'll hope for the best for your area (and California) to be free from wildfires.
(Though do some small ones help the ecological balance - I'll go look that up)
