Never a dull moment.
Buzz Alden actually punch a conspiracy theorist out in 2002
Buzz Aldrin punching that moon landing conspiracy theorist was such a great moment.

Youre the one who said you walked on the Moon when you didnt, Sibrel says.
Aldrin is also reported to have been aggressively poked with the good book.
The 72-year-old lost his cool and punched the heckler in the jaw.
Pleading self-defence Aldrin was let off by police on the basis of an absence of visible injury and a lack of criminal record.

(2,214 posts)After he punched that guy the dude went to the LA DA to have him prosecuted. The DA flat out refused. Then he tried to sue Buzz, but he couldn't find an attorney to represent him. He then filed Pro Se. His complaint was written so badly with Flat Earth and no moon landing conspiracy statements the CA civil court judge dismissed it for errors. He then finally just went away quietly.
Thanks for the follow up. What a loser.

(8,163 posts)I've been a backyard astronomer for over 25 years and was invited to what we call a 'star party' in 2005 - set up your kit in a specified place and spend the night under the stars with like-minded folks.
There was 'one of those' people wandering around, telling us to 'prove' we walked on the Moon. I asked if he was married. He nodded his head towards the woman who'd been following behind him - she had an apologetic look on her face. Apparently she'd been to this dance before.
So I told him to prove she was his wife. She started to grin and winked at me. He pointed to the wedding ring on her finger. I told him it was a fake - he gave to the woman 2 hours ago when he picked her up in a bar.
He'd get their marriage certificate.
I replied "Fake."
He'd get the Priest who married them.
"Fake."
Said he'd introduce me to their wedding party.
"You mean the folks back at the bar?"
We went back and forth for a few minutes and he was getting pretty frustrated. Finally his wife took him by the arm and said "Honey it's late, let's go" and led him away, giving me another wink.
They're everywhere...

I looked at her Facebook page and she believes in every conspiracy theory that is out there. Most of my clients arent even THAT unbalanced. I would be checking into if they are taking their meds if they were spouting the stuff she is.
