This is what I'll be looking for

Like many of you, I have been experiencing an eerie feeling about the Rs who are up for re-election and still stick to trump like glue, as if they are immune from the voters. What is that signaling? Do they know something we don't about the midterm elections?

To counter this, I've been hearing from some analysts that when the primaries are over, this will change. And it is true that Rs always swing right to win the voters in their party who are dependable midterm voters. And those voters skew very conservative. Then they go more mainstream for the general election.

But will that happen this time in any meaningful way? Will it be more than talk? Will they actually vote to control the budget and wars of choice and stand up to his efforts to spend taxpayer money?

And just as importantly, if it's all talk, will the Dems let them get away with that?
