Bill Clinton used to have to walk across the street to use a private telephone to make fundraising calls.

Bill Clinton used to have to walk across the street to use a private telephone to make fundraising calls so as not to violate the Hatch Act by using public resources for partisan purposes. Trump makes campaign commercials from behind the Resolute desk.

Trump released a last minute video against Thomas Massie.

He really wants to defeat the guy who forced him to begin releasing the Epstein files.

Flagrantly defying the rules and customs and Secretary of State Pompeo gave a speech from Jerusalem. ( Hillary Clinton and John Kerry did not attend the 2012 and 2016 conventions when they were Secretary of State.

I guess maybe public drunkeness if you believe he's a teetotaler because of his brother's alcoholism.

He practically robbed banks with bad debt, even to the point that US FDIC-insured banks wouldn't loan him anything.

But at least they recognized that using government phones and phone lines to make campaign calls was forbidden, even if they didn't recognize using employees to make those calls was also forbidden.

The judge I clerked for (old school Republican) never once mentioned his campaign for his next term during office hours. All campaigning was done from completely off-site and during hours the court was closed. As it had been done by all judges, regardless of party, for as long as anyone could remember.

I can't even imagine the judge who installed a second private phone line thinking it was OK to make a campaign commercial from his government office.
