Why is my DU display different all of a sudden?

I had it on Skinner mode, but now it's updated itself to the "new" DU mode and won't let me revert back.

I'm strongly NOT a fan of this setting, and it actively drives me off DU most days.

When we were getting this fund drive ready I happened to notice a bug where non-Star Members seemed to have access to the other visual modes after their Stars had expired, so we fixed it…

Some Internet For Seniors thing where everything's in large print with big colored blocks as links and things.

Which . . . ok, I get it.

But yeah. I hate it, too. It feels like my retinas are getting ECT.
