and margaritas the Senator was involved in, and wherein the Senator said he'd be willing to take the same test for alcohol abuse he was asking Patel about taking?

Patel is SUCH a liar and gish-galloper (just like their boss). He is an absolute joke, and Van Hollen handled him very well, I was impressed by him.

And whenever it is that you finally get your nose out of his ass, you’ll STILL be left with an icky brown nose.

It is a self or quasi-self inventory of alcoholic behaviors.

Self-reported. it isn't a breathalyzer

Self-reporting is rarely accurate. In large part, this is because those who do not have problems with drinking rarely need to report.

Teenagers, perhaps especially males, will often report (to their peers) that they consumed far more than they did. Adults with issues almost always lie and insist they "can handle" the amount they consume.

Because the body gets rid of alcohol faster than many other drugs, unless one is pulled over on a DWI check -- or at the scene of a wreck -- there are not tests to accurately measure on-going consumption.

is probably the "drug of choice" of many politicians.........along with a large group of Republican Politicians who have their pharmaceutical choices also.......

I have joked that the first thing the Republicans should have done, when they "installed" Trump in office in 2016........
was to legalize and cheapen ALL drugs in America.......It would have helped all of us 99%ers NUMB ourselves for what was coming......

Surely a myth........the only thing close causes blood to clot?????????????

I think the drugs of choice would be any upper, including Ritalin and Aderall, and Ambien to help them sleep at night.......
(at least I would need help sleeping at night if I were a member of the Republican CABAL, given what they are doing!)

Interesting side note: remember when WBush was demonstrating "word salad", three word Sentences, and his infamous Malaprops asking an expert on additiction if those were symptoms of Chronic Alcohol use, OR chronic cocaine use.......The person told me, that they didn't see that in Alcohol users or Cocaine users......but definitely due to long term chronic use of BOTH at the same time. Don't know if that is true, but it sure fit.....

Adrenochrome, of Qanon fame, is the drug harvested from scared little boys and girls to give Democrats their good looks and eternal youth.

Personally, I am a fan of ambien in the PM. Goes very well with a light beer.

The Republicans are the ones who have mastered the use of scared children for their personal fetishes.....and I am sure some Dems also......but not by using them to harvest any drugs..........
