Real Time with Bill Maher continues its 24th season Friday, May 15th (10:00-11:00 p.m. live ET/7:00-8:00 p.m. PT), with a replay at 12:09 a.m., exclusively on HBO.

This week features a one-on-one interview with actor Ben McKenzie, who wrote, directed, and produced the new documentary Everyone is Lying to You for Money.

This week's in-studio panel discussion will include Dan Jones, historian, podcaster, and author of the forthcoming book Castles: A Fortified History of the World from the Bronze Age to the Nuclear Age; and David French, New York Times columnist, visiting professor at Lipscomb University, and co-host of the podcast Advisory Opinions.

the billionaires have solved their last postapocalyptic problem if these bigger stronger faster smarter security robots can be built fast enough by the industrial robots.

what do they need us for?

Ben McKenzie should be good. I've not read his book, Easy Money: Cryptocurrency, Casino Capitalism, and the Golden Age of Fraud, but it has mostly good reviews on Amazon. His new documentary might be worth watching as well.

Dan Jones appears to have an interesting style of writing, making a topic that can be dull for many an easier, fun read. And David French is an old-style conservative who doesn't tolerate fRump, so this could make for a refreshing discussion.

And of course, his opening and New Rules are always fun.

He sucks up to Trump because Trump has power, and he ignores that Trump is a rapist, a criminal, a racist, a fraud, a misogynist, a thief, an associate of pedophiles, a man with an unnatural attraction to his own daughter, and a psychopath who starts wars for his own enjoyment.

Maher went to dinner with Trump, said nice things about him, and then laughs about how straightforward Trump is. So, let's be straightforward about Maher too. He is propping up the worst person ever to appear in American public life.

Why would anyone prop up Maher?
